Example 1: to find the engine RPM at a headspeed of 1600 on an XL Gasser |
| Main gear 90t, Pinion gear 14t 90/14 = 6.428 = 6.43 for practical purposes |
| RPM = 1600 (Headspeed) x 6.43 (Ratio) = 10,288 engine rpm |
